August 9th – Weekend Ratings Wrap Up
Another successful day for the ratings with again the most successful meeting being in Melbourne (Flemington). It’s no surprise that since Melbourne has had the best weather of late and tracks seem to be no worse than dead on Saturdays that the ratings have proved to be the most successful. Hopefully a few weeks of dry weather and a few more runs on the inside of the Randwick track will increase the strike rate there too. As I previously stated the quaddie at Flemington was very easy to get with 3 top rated and one 2nd rated horse winning yet the dividend still got over $1000.
