Great results for us last night first with our Premiership selection destroying one of its supposed rivals with Gold Coast United slamming Adelaide 2-0. We also backed them on the night for a win plus the half full double for a huge $625 return!

Both teams are looking fairly impressive in their own right so far. They are both playing the expected style we thought and are getting results. They meet tomorrow night in the other (less important ) NSW derby at Bluetongue Stadium.
I expect this to be a fairly close game and while I am not sure who will win I think there will be goals, and a lot of them. In the past these two teams have had epic matches against each other, with huge amounts of goals being scored. I actually think the result will be a draw for those that are wondering but that isn’t what I will be betting on.
We will be taking the massive odds of $6.50 in the Over 4.5 goals option. I understand 5 goals is a hell of a lot of action but if there are any two teams that can have a match with that many goals it is these two. The key is that both sides can score easily and therefore we are not really on a single team to smash the opposition; rather just on a open, free flowing attacking game which I feel it will deliver.
Therefore the bet is;
$100 at $6.50 on Over 4.5 goals
North Queensland vs Melbourne Victory
Saturday 22nd August
The Fury were destroyed by a rampant GCU and Melbourne finally showed they are starting to come back into form scoring some crackers coming back from 3-1 down to salvage a draw against Brisbane Roar. Another 15 minutes of play and Melbourne would surely have won the game.
I expect a huge score in this game and Melbourne will win easily. However I feel Fury will also be able to score as well with the hole in the Melbourne defence created by the missing Kevin Muscat so Fowler may get his name on the scoresheet again.
I think this game will have a score of something like 4-1, 3-2, 5-2 etc. and therefore we will be taking the Over 4.5 Goals option which is paying $5.65 with SportsTab. In fact I am really confident with this bet that even though 5 goals is a lot I think the odds are worth a punt so we will be betting 2 units on this result. In fact if some of the earlier bets of the weekend get up I will probably place a fairly large wager on this result but we will stick with 2 units for the official stakes.
Therefore the bet is;
$200 on Over 4.5 Goals at $5.65
